Description
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is a type of software that helps people create detailed drawings and designs on a computer. It’s like using a digital drawing tool to make plans for buildings, machines, roads, or other things that need to be built or made. CAD is used in many fields, like architecture, engineering, and manufacturing
A CAD technician uses computers and special software to create detailed drawings and plans for things like buildings, bridges, roads, and machines. They help engineers, architects, and designers turn their ideas into designs that can be built or made. Here are some of their main tasks:
Use computer software to make accurate and detailed drawings of projects.
Work from sketches or ideas given by engineers or architects and turn them into digital plans. Make changes to drawings as projects progress or as new information comes in.
Check their designs to make sure everything fits correctly and follows the rules.
Assist in planning projects by creating visuals that show how everything will fit together.
