Description

Greentech, an innovator in active air purification equipment has developed a groundbreaking filter able to remediate odors and manage VOCs better and less expensively than carbon-based filters.  We launched a new, proprietary filter with tested technology and we’re looking for a proven salesperson to take the lead.  We need someone who has hands-on experience in HVAC related sales, with a focus on filters and contacts in distribution channels.  The person in this role should be a self-motivated extroverted go getter who can help us achieve our goals.  This is an exciting opportunity to help change a paradigm. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Reaching out to the key players and creating a relationship with large companies that use filters and or distribute filters.
  • Create an action plan to present the relevant information to key stakeholders and how you will achieve the goals.
  • Attend industry relevant trade shows, conferences, conventions and professional events to stay current on industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Must have a basic understanding of HVAC systems and filter principles.
  • Assist in continuing to get the company name out in the HVAC community.
  • Ability to present a summary of business status and strategy to the executive management team.
  • Work with the marketing team to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills & abilities): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

  • Education And/Or Experience: Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, with 5+ years of hands-on sales experience in the HVAC/filter industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels.
  • Attention to and focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated team player who is able to work independently without supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Must pass the required background checks.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as computer instructions, etc. Proficiency in English language is required to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Other Qualifications: Willingness to perform any required task within the employee’s capabilities to effectively meet the needs of the company. Ability to get along well with others.
