Description

APPLICATION ENGINEERING:

Provide technical support about the application of our products to mechanical engineers, design/build contractors, architects, inspectors, and our engineering support staff.

1. Respond to questions.
2. Submittal process
3. provide technical support to our sales staff in reviewing submittals when needed.
4. provide technical support to the engineers in reviewing the submittals when needed.
5. Budget pricing of equipment when requested.
   
   

PRODUCT SUPPORT:

Provide technical information about our products to mechanical engineers, architects, inspectors, and owners.

1. Literature and computer software updates
2. Engineering tools provided by manufacturers’ (duct designer, templates, engineering books, etc.)
3. Provide product selections based on inquiries from mechanical engineers, contractors, etc.
4. Provide design and layout of Honeywell gas detection systems.
5. Utilize vendor software and/or literature to select appropriate equipment when required.

 

CONTINUED EDUCATION:

1. Review and discuss with our engineering staff new products from our manufacturers and engineering procedures at regularly scheduled engineering meetings.
2. Attend manufacturer’s training seminars on their products (all located out of state), as well as manufacturer’s webinars.
3. Attend engineering seminars or classes that pertain to our products.
4. Visit with the manufacturer’s technical support staff about different applications of products.
5. Share information with other engineering staff.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: BSME OR EQUIVALENT HVAC EXPERIENCE

Proof of insurance will be required as well as an excellent MVR
