Description

• Review and analysis of project documents
• Organize and perform Take-Off of Project Drawings
• Work on NIS’ proprietary telecommunications estimating program
• Prepare Bid Forms and Short Form Proposal Letters
• Request material pricing from vendors/suppliers
• Prepare Submittal Packages
• Place and track material orders
• Communicate with Owners, Project Managers, and installation Team Leaders
• Project correspondence, including RFI’s, Change Orders, Project Scheduling/Sequencing
• Review and approve supplier invoices
• Provide required support information for job costing and project invoicing

Requirements

• 4 years teledata/electrical industry experience
• Knowledge of electrical drawings and specifications
• Understanding of Bid Documents and Project Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, Microsoft Office applications
• Multitasker with the ability to track and meet bidding deadlines.
• Ability to use CAD, Bluebeam, or similar automated drawing programs is a plus
