Senior Account Manager – Gas Compression Lubricant Sales
Business Development and Sales of Lubricants for Engines and Compressors used in the Transmission of Natural Gas and the Capture and Storage of CO2.

What Idemitsu seeks:
Idemitsu is looking for a self-motivated, highly driven, competitive team player that can develop and grow our lubricants business in the gas compression industry.
What you’ll be doing (a Day in the Life):
* Continue to develop Idemitsu’s Go-to-Market Strategy for the Gas Compression industry
* Contacting gas compression customers at all levels from station mechanics to VP of operations
* Provide field technical support for customers and prospects to establish proof-of-performance for Idemitsu gas engine and compressor lubricants, including engine and compressor inspections and analysis of oil samples to determine trends and extend drain intervals
* Grow Idemitsu’s share of the Gas Compression market through a combination of direct to end-user and/or distributor sales of lubricants
Travel requirements:
* Available for travel across the United States and Canada on a regular basis (50% minimum)

Requirements
What you’ll need to be successful:
* Sales Experience – 5-plus years of selling (preferably lubricants) to the Gas Compression industry
* Technical Background – Time spent working with equipment (engines and compressors) used in the transmission and storage of natural gas and CO2
* Lubrication Knowledge – Fundamental understanding of lubricant formulations and applications
* Education – Engineering degree or equivalent work experience along with OEM classes related to gas engines and compressors
