The Mechanical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA (Cal Poly) invites qualified applicants to apply for two Full Time Lecturers of Mechanical Engineering during the academic year of 24/25 with possibility of a one-year extension contingent upon department need and satisfactory evaluations. This is an opportunity for candidates who have a passion for teaching and the practice of mechanical engineering. Primary duties will be teaching fundamental courses in Mechanical Engineering, such as design communication, engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, or mechanical design. This is an opportunity for candidates who are passionate about undergraduate education to join a unique institution that values teaching and applied research activities through a “Learn by Doing” approach.  The starting date is September 16, 2024.
