Company Overview
Green Building Services is a multi-disciplinary professional consulting practice dedicated to helping clients access their buildings’ greatest potential by thinking restoratively, changing behavior, and pushing the bounds of building science. GBS offers a full range of green building services: design and building operations consultation including technical services such as commissioning, facility audits and building certifications such as LEED, Green Globes and WELL Building. We are also pleased to offer Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSR) guidance for corporate entities of all sizes. GBS is an equal opportunity employer.
Company History
GBS originally began as an offshoot of PGE in 2000, and formally incorporated as a “C Corporation” in 2005 in Oregon. The firm currently has 18 full-time employees based in our headquarters office in downtown Portland.

In addition, we are familiar with numerous alternate sustainability rating systems and strategies, such as Net Zero Energy, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building, Green Globes, and Passivhaus, to name a few.
