Reliable Controls Corporation specializes in the design and manufacture of Internet-connected, building automation controls. Our innovative products automate building environments, decreasing their impact on our planet. As a privately-owned, Canadian corporation since 1986, we are dedicated to providing simple, flexible, and sustainable systems, economically targeted to meet the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit. We are proud to have design, development, assembly, service, and repairs housed under one roof in our LEED platinum certified headquarters in Victoria BC, Canada.

Company History
The company was founded by Mr. Roland Laird in 1986, a BCIT grad. He started the company in his father’s basement in Surrey BC, and remains very active in the company as President. The company relocated to Victoria in 1995 and currently has over 120 employees in Victoria and support offices in Canada, USA, Australia, China, Singapore, Europe and Latin America. Managed by a talented group of individuals, every employee in the organization makes a direct contribution to product development, processes, and/or support. A simple corporate philosophy built on openness and honesty in all aspects of business has resulted in steady growth and long-term relationships with the most satisfied customers in the industry. The company has grown steadily as a high-tech manufacturer, and currently serves over 140 Authorized Dealers in more than 20 countries around the world.
